The Ministry for Economic Development is responsible for the Energy Efficiency Directive implementation in Italy. While the technical aspects of energy efficiency policies and measures are supported by ENEA the National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development.
Other executive actors and ministries, such as the Ministry of Environment, Land and Sea, the Ministry for Economy and Finance, the Ministry for Infrastructures and Transports, also support the Directive’s implementation, either by drafting guidelines, recommendations or by supporting data collection and assessments.
