The implementation of the Energy Efficiency Directive is under the lead of the Ministry of the Economy, Directorate general for Energy, Energy efficiency team. Provisions regarding public procurement and public building renovation for government institutions are implemented by the Ministry of Mobility and Public Works.
Klima-Agence, which is the national energy and climate agency, supports the ministries in their work to transpose the Directive in national legislation and in the promotion of energy efficiency to consumers.
